Action Romance Thriller DIE IN A GUNFIGHT To Commence Next Month; Hutcherson, Scodelario, Munn And Hunt Star

Josh Hutcherson and Kaya Scodelario are set to light up the screen in the forthcoming action romance thriller, Die In A Gunfight. The film marks the latest move for Colin Schiffli who will direct from a script by Antman And The Wasp scribes Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari with Josh Hutcherson (Hunger Games franchise, The Kids Are All Right, Future Man) and Kaya Scodelario (Pirates Of The Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, The Maze Runner franchise) leading the cast.
DIE IN A GUNFIGHT tells the story of two star-crossed lovers – Ben (Hutcherson) and Mary (Scodelario). The two share an eagerness to break from the confines of their lives that fuels their passion for each other and leads to an all-out struggle for their love against a backdrop of corporate espionage, revenge, and a long-standing feud between their families.
Full of invigorating, raw emotion and colorful, larger-than-life characters, DIE IN A GUNFIGHT shows that true love conquers all…but if it can’t, it’ll at least ensure you go out swinging, in spectacular fashion.
Also set to star are Olivia Munn (The Predator, X-Men: Apocalypse) and Oscar® winner Helen Hunt (As Good As It Gets, Twister) according to Monday's presser with plans to begin principal photography in Boston next month. Schiffli is prolifically known for earning critical recognition for his 2014 film, Animals, taking home the Grand Jury Prize at the SXSW Film Festival that year.

Die In A Gunfight hails from The Mark Gordon Company whose announcement on Monday cites the film as "an electrifying update to one of the greatest love stories of all time, 'Romeo & Juliet.'"

Says Academy Award® nominee Mark Gordon of MGC:
“We are delighted to assemble a top tier cast and creative team to bring this vibrant and passionate film to life. Showcasing exhilarating action and timeless emotional themes, DIE IN A GUNFIGHT will surely resonate with audiences around the world,”.
Gordon (The Nutcracker And The Four Realms, Murder On The Orient Express) will produce next to Tom Butterfield (Welcome To Me, An Actor Prepeares) via MGC along witg Allyson Seeger (The Hollars, Jack Ryan) of Sunday Night. Sara Smith of MGC will serve as executive producer.
