Some of you might have noted Brit-kicker, actor Scott Adkins posting the above video of himself sporting a certain bearded look while training at a gym in Belgrade, Serbia. Cool kicks aside, it appears he's been in town this entire time filming Benattar/Thomas Productions’ latest action thriller sci-fi, Incoming, which has since landed at XLrator Media for U.S. distribution.
Adkins stars as a CIA agent who aims to designate an International Space Station-turned-prison facility for his own means in the wake of an uprising by the inmates looking to weaponize it as a missle aimed at Moscow, all while a rookie pilot and a shuttle doctor try to foil the deadly insurrection. Eric Zaragoza makes his directorial debut from a story conceived by producers Rick Benattar and Nigel Thomas, and screenwriter Jorge Saralegui.
The film is financed by the UK-based Sharp House is financing the film currently staked under international sales agent Premiere Entertainment Group whose Elias Axume and Red Production's own Milos Dukelic are also producing. XLrator's Barry Gordon and Michael Radiloff are executive producing with Sharp House's Ian Sharp, Rebecca Joerin-Sharp and Emma Dutton.
Adkins, who co-starred opposite Benedict Cumberbatch and with Mads Mikkelsen in Marvel’s Doctor Strange, is also on deck with a trio of titles directed by Jesse V. Johnson with Savage Dog at XLrator, the recently-completed British comic adaptation Accident Man, and next month's ensemble production kick-off for Triple Threat.
