The next several years from here on will foresee what rising action star Jean-Paul Ly dips into on both sides of the lens. He's certainly earning his stripes as an actor though, having sustained himself a screen presence that bodes an action star caliber worth celebrating that now extends itself to Colin and Magpie helmer Marc Price's new Ascendant Releasing launchpad, Nightshooters.
A summer date approaches for the film while current plans for a panel at MCM London Comic-Con at the Silver Theater with Ly in attendance lie in wait ten days from now as of this article. Expect Ly to discuss all that entails with starring in a movie as the star of a movie within said movie, as he and his crew are forced into a life-or-death battle with real-life thugs during a late evening film production. And for that, expect some of the best in U.K. martial arts action cinema to come.
