TAG Teases A Proverbial Gangbang Based On A True Story In The First Trailer

Jeff Tosmic of Broad City fame is on par to get some attention at the movies this summer. For this, actor Jeremy Renner takes center stage as the man to beat in a longstanding game for the ages with Tag, written by Rob McKittrick and Mark Steilen for a June 15 release.
For one month every year, five highly competitive friends hit the ground running in a no-holds-barred game of tag they’ve been playing since the first grade—risking their necks, their jobs and their relationships to take each other down with the battle cry: “You’re It!”
This year, the game coincides with the wedding of their only undefeated player, which should finally make him an easy target.  But he knows they’re coming…and he’s ready.
Based on a true story, the New Line Cinema comedy “Tag” shows how far some guys will go to be the last man standing.

Renner is joined by Ed Helms, Jake Johnson, Annabelle Wallis, Rashida Jones, Isla Fisher, Leslie Bibb Hannibal Buress and Jon Hamm with a script adapted from Russell Adams's 2013 Wall Street Journal piece "It Takes Planning, Caution to Avoid Being It". And you can thank Ms. Fisher's role for the context in the headline above.
