It's been something of an eventful weekend; things happened and by Saturday evening I was ready to hibernate away from social media through Sunday no matter what... Then I got a surge of energy and figured I'd put it to use and besides, there's still a plethora of content to share including in this week's Hit List that I've been collecting and I intend to introduce them now that I'm awake.

Besides, these stunt reels were pretty stimulating and very much kickass with Lorenz Hideyoshi Ruwwe highlighting his work load going into 2018. He kicks off this segment followed by reels courtesy of Jessie Simpson, Benjamin Alexander, Mélodie Veillard, Eliver Ling, Ivy Haralson, Geoffrey Boggs, Thekla Hutyrova, Kawui Joa, Ikeda Ai, Arman Ansari, Katelyn Brooke, Jon Orozco, Li Jing, Gui DaSilva, Caitlin Hutson with a Batgirl-inspired stunt promo of her own and Thom Williams with a spectacular stunt coordinator reel to top it all off.
Actor, martial artist and filmmaker got in some film fun with the crowd over the weekend at Anime Impulse in Ponoma, California for a screening of his latest project, Legend Of The Kickmaster. Fleder directs the series for its wide premiere on January 18 as noted on their Facebook fanpage last November with a cast comprised of Martial Club's Brian Le, actresses Stephy So and Chrysti Ane, and actors Tim Neff and Joe Jitsukawa, all of whom have promos that introduce their characters from the series accordingly.
This week's fights and films are a lively bunch and Film Combat Syndicate favorite Shawn Bernal is here to raise this stakes a bit with a quick little sampler of his own followed by filmmaker Andrew Kim at Kamen Ramen Studios with a mash-up of Power Rangers proof of concept sequences he filmed last year. Dennis Ruel vaporizes in The Vaporizer while Anisha Gibbs fends off an uninvited holiday guest in Santa Is That You?, the members of Legionarius Stunts settle their score on horseback, Prateek Parmar takes Kung Fu Law into his own hands, Joseph Le fights the circle game Pwnage by Angela Jordan and Stephanie Phan over at Art School Dropouts, Gui DaSilva goes two-for-two in a Black Panther-inspired pre-viz gem from Vlad Rimburg and director Rachel Renne orchestrates the pugulist politics of two shipwrecked pirates in The Map.
Also from the aforementioned Rimburg is the fifth segment of pre-viz fight action for Batman: The Telltale Series before Amadei Weiland over at Urbanamadei takes bodyguard duties to new heights in a new POV parkour video, the Phillipou Brothers take their lightsaber shenanigans to the parking lot for The RackaRacka channel while we revert back to Art School Dropouts briefly for an FMA-based test fight starring Mike Sun, CBR Stunts weighs in on Gotham's latest crime spree averted once again by its Dark Knight in a Batman: Arkham-inspired sequence featuring music by Junkie XL and performances by Chris Romrell and Dallin Wright with Corbett McAllister in costume, and Force Storm Entertainment entering with the second installment of The Purge from their Star Wars-inspired Lost Tales Of The Republic series with actor and martial artist Andrew Franklin.
Rounding out the playlist is a fantastic sci-fi action thriller shortfilm by Tim Reis called Tether. I first spotted it at ScreenAnarchy and I had to pass it up as I was resting over the holidays from writing until the past week when I had a chance to check it out. Stuntman Micah Thompson impresses in the lead role of an expandable soldier monitored in an experimental program in which his symbiotic clone engages in a raid. Thompson and co-star Alessandro Folchitto handle things in the fight action department which suffices greatly for anyone who reads this site with great expectations when it comes to the Hit List...and believe you me as much as I get asked if I liked something, logic dictates: if I shared it, then that means I liked it. 😉
Enjoy all that and more in the playlist below!
