Six films in, San Francisco's Uncia Films's latest now pairs them with a notable cast with respective varying credits from shows like Stranger Things and 13 Reasons Why to films such as Mel Gibson's Payback and the CW's upcoming new DC series adaptation, Black Lightning. Enter psychological suspense thriller, Look Into The Fire, with Uncia describing it as their biggest project yet and hailing Tim Morrill's feature debut in association with Full 88 and Burnout Pictures, and for all intents and purposes, their latest campaign on Indiegogo to help provide the necessary funds to complete the last 1% of work needed for final editing.
A group of neuropsychology graduate students work to unlock the potential of the brain. One student, Adam, takes his lab work too far. When his self-induced experiment goes wrong, he unwittingly unlocks repressed memories and begins to be haunted by disturbing visions. As Adam digs deeper, he finds that there is someone who doesn't want him to uncover the sinister truth. Adam and his friends must work together to help him confront his recollections and figure out what is truth and what are lies before it's too late.Morrill's cast enlists Gregg Henry of the aforementioned Payback and Guardians Of The Galaxy of late next to Stranger Things series co-star Jackie Dallas who also produces the film, and with Artie Shase, Nina E. Jordan, Myles Brown, Davey Silva and Grace Ingland rounding out the cast with Bridger Fox (Rope-A-Dope) serving as stunt coordinator. Their Indiegogo page is live with a month left to reach their goal, and a trailer to help motivate the interests of gracious netizens and cinephiles alike.
