Justice League may not be on everyone's radar going into the weekend. Looking forward however, trade news on Thursday offers some light on the matter with news on IDW Publishing's Danger Girl with film and television rights acquired by Constantin Film.
The company will team up with with Bolt Pictures and Prime Universe Films to produce a film and develop a TV show based on the IP which found its way to comic book shelves in 1996. Created by J. Scott Campbell and Andy Hartnell, Danger Girl, tells of Abbey Chase, the reluctant recruit of a secret spy organization who teams up with cohorts Sydney Savage and Natalia Kasstle to retrieve a series of mystical objects against the wills of criminal enterprise, The Hammer Syndicate.
The search for writers and directors is currently underway. More from Deadline:

Added Bolt: “Danger Girl is the perfect opportunity to create a team of grounded, relatable, and dangerous young female characters, but with humor and spectacular action.”
Said Askarieh: “I have been a fan of Danger Girl for more than 20 years and the idea of being part of the team to finally bring Scott’s and Andy’s iconic creation to the screen is incredibly exciting.”Executive producing are Campbell and Hartnell, along with Martin Moszkowics whose Constantin has Robert Kulzer, and Bolt Pictures's Jeremy Bolt and Adrian Askarieh producing.
