Exhibit The Legacy Behind WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES In The Latest Trailer

Sizing up to be a worthwhile finale for 20th Century Fox's most recent franchise endeavor with the Apes saga, War Of The Planet Of The Apes is now amassing some notable reviews from critics while staying on its toes through its July 14 release. A new legacy-themed trailer is now online that reintroduces the story within the first two films that now culminate the the third film, directed by Matt Reeves who helmed the second installment in 2014.
In War for the Planet of the Apes, the third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.
I have no question that in about ten years or sooner that Fox is just going to dip back more into the Apes saga to find something to play with. Maybe there is or maybe we'll all be back to screaming for Hollywood to seugue into original material... Who knows? All I know is that Reeves appears to have done an ample job with this franchise, so one hopes this will break the chain of downward spiraling box office sequel returns currently suffered by Transformers: The Last Knight and Pirates Of The Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales... Ah well...come what may.
